	McCallum Fine Arts Academy Quintet Records for Popular Austin Radio Program Five of McCallum's Fine Arts Academy top orchestra students performed at  KUT-FM studio 1-A on the University of Texas campus, with John Aielli, host of KUT's morning program, Eklektikos.  Aielli has been a big fan of the Fine Arts Music program for years and invited the string quintet to perform on his program to promote McCallum's Winter Concert Series. Seniors Gonzalo Hernando, 1st violin; Caris Longoria, 2nd violin; Catherine Cotham, cello; August Dennis, double bass and sophomore Caitlin Coughlan on viola, recorded the performance and interview with director Ricky Pringle on Tuesday, November 27, 2007. The quintet of the Chamber Orchestra's principal players, performed a repertoire from the Dvořák Quintet in G, a Vivaldi Concerto and Amahl and the Night Visitors, an opera in one act  performed at the December 6 and 10 with the varsity choir.
